Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC) has opened a new round of Business Enhancement Grants on July 1.
The Business Enhancement Support Program provides small grants of up to $1,000 (exc GST) to support existing businesses in the Horsham Rural City Council area.
Mayor Ian Ross said Council are pleased to be able to provide total funding of $20,000 as part of the 2025/2026 budget.
"The objectives of this grants program are to:
- support business innovation, operational improvements and business growth for our local businesses;
- assist businesses to improve accessibility and inclusivity; and
- support improved presentation of businesses in the region.
These small grants will support a broad range of business projects," he said.
"Examples of the types of applications Council has received in previous years include improving on-line presence; equipment upgrades, business front enhancements, signage, and improvements to accessibility."
Applications are open now, with Guidelines and link to the on-line application form on Council's website.
Cr Ross said the grants round will remain open until the 25/26 budget is fully allocated.
"I encourage potential applicants to read the guidelines, plan your project, and speak with a Council officer if you have any questions".
