Cairns library branches in the City, Earlville, Edmonton, Gordonvale, Manunda and Smithfield will no longer accept cash from Monday (2 December).
Babinda, Edmonton and Stratford branches have been cashless since January 2019.
Customer service offices located at Earlville, Gordonvale and Smithfield libraries will continue to accept cash.
Secure EFTPOS payment will be available with no minimum spend or surcharge.
