Northern Territory Police continue to investigate the death of a 29-year-old man in Mataranka on Thursday 21 December.
"Thanks to public assistance, we have now identified and since located the vehicle involved. The driver of this truck is assisting police with the investigation," Detective Superintendent Brendan Lindner said, Northern Territory Police say.
"We continue to call for witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time to help us with identifying the deceased man’s movements in the hours leading up to the incident around 6pm.
"We thank the public who have contacted us so far, and also the local business operators who provided us their CCTV footage from the day."
Anyone with information, dash-cam footage or who was in the area at the time is asked to contact 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
