Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to the death of a woman who was struck by a vehicle in Alice Springs on Wednesday night.
It is alleged the woman was walking along Sadadeen Road when she was struck by a vehicle around 6:40pm, Northern Territory Police say.
Police are seeking assistance from any motorists who may have seen the woman within the vicinity of Sadadeen Road prior to the crash.
The woman is described as being in her 50s, of Indigenous appearance, with a short medium build and wearing dark coloured clothing at the time.
Anyone who may have seen the woman in the area prior to the crash is urged to contact Police on 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
