Launceston Police is calling for public assistance to identify the driver of a hooning vehicle, Tasmania Police say.
About 11:25pm on Saturday 3 February, a red Holden Commodore sedan, only displaying a rear registration plate, was travelling east on Cimitiere Street, Launceston.
The driver did a burnout at the intersection with George Street, outside the Commercial Hotel.
Police allege the vehicle fish tailed, crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a parked vehicle. At the time of the incident a male driver was the sole occupant in the vehicle.
Anyone with information relating to the identity of the driver or the location of the vehicle should contact Launceston Police on 6777 3932.
