The Northern Territory road toll has risen to six following the death of a 42-year-old female pedestrian on Dick Ward Drive in Ludmilla
Police believe the woman was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a vehicle around 8:30pm last night, Northern Territory Police say
Police and St John Ambulance attended the scene where the woman was declared deceased.
The male driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was breath tested, returning a negative reading. He is continuing to assist police with the investigation.
Witnesses are urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
