Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged stealing with violence.
Police received a report of two people being robbed at knife point with one of the victims being stabbed around 7:30pm on Saturday 30 June, Northern Territory Police say.
The incident occurred on the Esplanade at the intersection of Knuckey Street.
The alleged offender is described as a male who was wearing black or dark clothing and a balaclava at the time of offending.
Police located a male at an address on Mitchell Street shortly after. He was arrested and remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
The stabbing victim was conveyed to hospital for treatment.
