The Australian Government has expanded eligibility for Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) bulk billing incentives and established the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP).
This means more general practices are offering bulk billing, improving access to affordable GP care for all Australians. These changes could save you and your family hundreds of dollars a year in out-of-pocket costs.
The campaign aims to increase awareness among Medicare-eligible patients that they are now more likely to receive bulk billed GP care and support them to find a bulk billing practice.
The campaign is being delivered nationally across television, social media, digital, print and search channels, with tailored materials to ensure accessibility for First Nations and multicultural audiences.
