Can playing video games lead to a love of Jazz?

"I hope my fans’ interest in video games and anime leads to a newfound appreciation of jazz," Donna explains. "Although I’m well-known for my video game ballads, I want to take this opportunity to share my passion for jazz with fans all around the world."

Ganime Jazz comprises of Donna and Tokyo-based composer/arranger/pianist Shunsuke Itoh, drummer Kohji Ebisawa, bassist Motoyoshi Ozawa and electric guitarist Hideki Tsuchiya. The band members, all fans of game and anime music, bring passion and originality to Donna’s original recordings, that allows fans to enjoy acoustic jazz style arrangements. The CD design, inspired by Donna’s favorite anime and games, exudes a cute and cheery anime-like atmosphere, inviting fans to sit back and enjoy the ride.
