Tourism businesses are essential to regional economic growth. Today, Guillaume Deschênes-Thériault, Member of Parliament for Madawaska-Restigouche, on behalf of the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, announced a repayable contribution totaling $111,500 for two businesses in northern New Brunswick.

This funding will help EKÖ Nature Glamping and Auberge MicKy Inc. modernize, attract visitors, and reduce their environmental impact. These projects contribute to diversifying and extending the tourism experience and supporting the local economy.

Today's announcement demonstrates how the Government of Canada is contributing to the growth of the tourism sector, strengthening local economies, and promoting northern New Brunswick as a destination of choice for travelers from here and abroad. By supporting tourism, we are building vibrant communities and paving the way for sustainable growth.
