The gleeful mum was at work when she received a phone call from us confirming their million-dollar win.

"I'm in shock!" she laughed.

"I always buy a lottery ticket for myself and my daughter. We always share a ticket.

"I checked the ticket last night on my iPad and I immediately went to my daughter. I gave her the iPad and said, 'Look at this!'.

"You should've seen the look on her face! She thought something was wrong.

"Thankfully, I'm all by myself at work right now. My mind will be all over the place today!"

When asked about how they'd enjoy their share of the bounty, the semi-retiree shared she planned to go on a getaway, while her daughter intended to pay off part of her mortgage.

"I am basically semi-retired, so I'll be going on a holiday to the Great Barrier Reef!" she exclaimed.

"My daughter has a mortgage. I can see her trying to pay that off with the prize.

"I'll also help extended family!

"Thank you very much!"
