Cash and drugs seized during vehicle stop in Revesby

A man has been charged after drugs and cash were allegedly found during a vehicle search in Sydney’s south-west, NSW Police say.

Officers attached to Bankstown Local Area Command were travelling along Queen Street, Revesby, about midday on Tuesday 21 November 2017, and pulled over a vehicle for a random breath test.

The officers spoke to the driver, a 29-year-old man, who was acting suspiciously.

Police then conducted a search of the vehicle where they allegedly located drugs believed to be cocaine, ‘ice’ and more than $18,000 in cash. All items were seized.

The man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity) and deal with proceeds of crime.

He was bail refused and is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Wednesday 22 November 2017).
