Cashin Street footpath under construction

Construction is underway on a new footpath along Cashin Street in Inverloch, as part of Bass Coast Shire Council's Footpath GAPS Program.

Work on the 170-metre-long section of path, between Diane Place and Park Street, is expected to take around four weeks to complete.

This $47,500 project is fully funded by Council, as part of its 2020/21 Capital works program.

The aim of this project is to improve access for pedestrians for the community. These works will provide the community with a safer connection to existing footpath network.

Traffic and pedestrian control measures may be implemented onsite during these works. Council appreciates that these works may present an inconvenience asks for patience during these times. The contractor will make every effort to minimise disruptions during construction.
