A farmer has had to rescue around 350 cattle from their paddock which has flooded, Queensland Police say.
In order to get them to dry land, he has to walk them along the Bruce Highway at Helens Hill.
It is expected to take a few hours.
Traffic can get through periodically, however police are asking for patience and for drivers to proceed with caution.
