CCTV footage released following stabbing, NSW

Police have released CCV footage after two men were hospitalised following a stabbing at Bass Hill earlier this month, NSW Police say.

About 3.30pm on Saturday 15 October 2016, emergency services were called to the car park of a fast food restaurant on the Hume Highway following reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival a 28-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his back.

A second man, aged 26, suffered stab wounds to his chest and face.

Both were taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police have been told a third man fled.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

As part of their inquiries police have released CCTV footage two people who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The person depicted in CCTV images is described as being a male of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance with a large muscular build and multiple tattoos. He is wearing a black singlet, black shorts, and black shoes.

The second person is described as being female, Caucasian appearance, of a thin build, with long dark hair and wearing black jumper, black pants, white shoes, and carrying a light-coloured bag.
