CCTV footage released of stabbing suspect, SA

Police have today released CCTV vision of a suspect wanted in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Adelaide in August, according to SA Police.

The incident occurred just after 3am on Sunday 12 August, near the intersection of Hindley and Clarendon Streets. The victim became involved in an altercation with another man and was left with minor injuries to his leg believed be two small stab wounds.

The victim attended the Royal Adelaide Hospital and received stitches to his leg before being discharged.

The suspect was last seen running south along Clarendon Street. He is described as Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with dark shoulder length hair in a ponytail and a dark reddish brown full beard.

The suspect was in company with a woman who is pictured in the CCTV vision. She is described as Caucasian, about 170-175cm tall, slim to medium build with dark hair.

Detectives would also like to speak to the driver of a small light coloured sedan that turned from Clarendon Street into Phillip Street, where the suspect was running in the middle of the road in front of them.
