CCTV images released after robbery - Strathfield

Police have released CCTV images of a man and are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Strathfield this week.

About 3.20pm on Monday (7 November 2022), a man entered a pharmacy on The Boulevarde, Strathfield, and placed a number of items from the store into a bag.

A 36-year-old male employee approached the man and attempted to prevent him from leaving the premises, when he was punched in in the face.

The man fled and officers from Auburn Police Area Command were notified

The employee suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

As inquiries into the incident continue, Investigators have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, and with short dark hair.

He is shown wearing a black t-shirt with "Hilfiger' motif on chest, jeans, white shoes and carrying a grey shoulder bag.
