CCTV of attempted robbery at Modbury released, SA

Holden Hill Police are seeking information from the public after an attempted robbery of a pawnbrokers at Modbury last night and have released CCTV of the robber and getaway driver, according to SA Police.

Just before 9pm on Thursday 21 September, a man wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and armed with syringe threatened staff demanding gold from the premises on North East Road.

The staff member refused and the man left the shop empty handed, getting into a waiting white Toyota Hiace van, driven by another man, wearing a straw hat, high-visibility polo shirt, jeans and black slides.

There were no injuries in the incident, police patrols searched the area, but the van wasn't located.
