Police have released CCTV vision as they appeal for public assistance after jewellery was stolen from a shop in Sydney's Inner West.
About 4.20am today (Thursday 28 August 2025), emergency services were called to Deane Street, Burwood, following reports a vehicle had crashed into a shop front.
On arrival, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were told the vehicle – which had been reported stolen – had been driven into the jewellery retail store, before two men entered the shop and took jewellery.
The two men left the scene a short time later in a Grey Mercedes C Class, driven by a third unknown person.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
