Detectives have relesed CCTV images as an investigation continues into an alleged armed robbery at a business near Newcastle earlier this month.
About 3.40am on Friday 12 September 2025, police were called to a licensed premises on Beaumont Street, Hamilton, following reports of an armed robbery.
Officers attached to Newcastle City Police district were told an unknown person had entered the business and threatened staff with a pistol before leaving with cash on the back of an e-bike being ridden by another person. No injuries were reported.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation under Strike Force Mesport with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad.
As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV images of two males who might be able to assist with the investigation.
The first male is described as being of solid build, and is depicted wearing a black shirt with black plants, black shoes, black gloves, and was seen wearing a long-haired dark blonde and brown wig.
The second male is depicted wearing a black shirt and black pants, with white shoes, a white helmet, and riding a black e-bike.
