CCTV released after threat left at business - Arncliffe

Detectives have released CCTV as investigations continue into an alleged extortion attempt on a business in Sydney's south earlier this year.

About 8am Tuesday 4 May 2021, a 23-year-old man attended a business on Forest Road, Arncliffe, and found shotgun shells and a note demanding money on the doorstep.

Officers from St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced investigations under Strike Force Salkauska.

As investigations continue, police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He's depicted wearing a dark hooded jumper, tracksuit pants and gloves with white sneakers at the time; last seen entering a dark coloured SUV on the corner of Lydham Avenue and Clarence Road about 2.30am that morning.

Anyone who may have information, CCTV or dashcam vision from the area at the time is urged to call St George Police on (02) 8566 7499 or Crime Stoppers.
