Detectives have released CCTV of four men who may be able to assist with the ongoing investigation into a break and enter at Chippendale last month, that left one man stabbed.

Police have been told shortly after midnight (Saturday 4 January 2020) several men forced entry to a unit in Shepherd Street and an altercation commenced with the occupants. The argument between the parties continued onto Knox Street, where a 29-year-old man was stabbed.

Emergency services arrived a short time later and found the man had suffered stab wounds to his head, arm and hip, as well as a fractured leg.

He was taken by ambulance to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition and has since been released.

Three occupants of the unit – two men aged 22 and 24, and a 55-year-old woman – were arrested at the scene and charged in relation to the stabbing. They remain before the courts.

As inquiries continue, police have now released CCTV of four men they believe may be able to assist with the ongoing break and enter investigation.
