CCTV released as part of investigation into armed robbery - Central Coast

Police have released CCTV of a male they would like to speak with as they continue to investigate an armed robbery on the Central Coast earlier this year.

About 11.30am on Thursday 17 September 2020, two unknown males entered a bottle shop on Lloyd Avenue, Chain Valley Bay, armed with knives.

They demanded cash before one of them pushed a female employee and fled with cash and cigarettes on an unregistered trail bike.

The employee wasn't injured.

Detectives from Tuggerah Lakes Police District have commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released an image of a male who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He's described as being of "non-muscular" build, about 170cm tall, and aged in his late teens to early 20s.

At the time, he was wearing tan work boots, grey tracksuit pants, a black jacket and a motorcycle helmet. He was carrying a blue shopping bag.
