CCTV released as police investigate shots fired into Fairfield West house

Police have released CCTV and are appealing for the public's assistance after shots were fired into a house in Sydney's south-west earlier this year.

On Wednesday 28 April 2021, police were called to a house in Baragoola Street at Fairfield West, after reports of a public place shooting.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, locating damage to the front of the house and several projectile casings.

The six occupants in the house at the time, including four children, were not injured in the incident.

As inquiries continue, investigators have now released CCTV of a vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting about 8.25pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021.

The vehicle is described as a grey coloured Mitsubishi Colt hatchback and was last seen shortly before the shooting on Thorney and Kambala Roads.

Police are urging anyone with information – including dashcam footage from the area at the time of the shooting – to contact Fairfield City Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
