CCTV released following Caroline Springs homicide

Homicide Squad detectives have released CCTV as part of their appeal for public assistance into the death of a man in Caroline Springs last month, Victoria Police say.

The body of 36-year-old Caroline Springs man Patryk Bondar was located by a passer-by on Caravel Lane just before 10pm on 4 June.

The CCTV captured a group of five men who were near a reserve on The Esplanade, between Swan Street and Garretty Road, in the time leading up to the discovery of Patryk’s body.

Investigators would like to speak to the group as they believe they may have witnessed activity in the area and may be able to assist police with their enquiries.

It’s believed the men travelled to the location in two unknown vehicles, possibly a BMW and an SUV, which are also depicted in the CCTV.

Detectives have released CCTV images of the group and are appealing for the men, or anyone who may be able to identify them, to contact police or contact Crime Stoppers.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or with any other information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
