CCTV released following Middle Park murder

Homicide Squad detectives have today released CCTV and appeal for public assistance after Middle Park woman Jeanette Moss was found murdered in her home more than three years ago, Victoria Police say.

A neighbor found the body of Ms Moss, in her Beaconsfield Parade apartment, on Wednesday 15 January 2014 around 10.45am.

Despite an extensive investigation, appeals for information and an information caravan being set up detectives are still searching for a breakthrough in the case.

It is known that the morning before her death she had driven her friend to a pharmacy on Bay Street in Port Melbourne just before 11am.

Investigators are still piecing together Miss Moss’s movements leading up to the day she was killed and have released CCTV of her waiting outside the pharmacy.

An image of her green 1997 BMW sedan has also been released.

As part of their investigation, detectives have identified that some of Ms Moss’s jewellery, including a ring, bracelet and watch were missing.

The signet ring is quite distinctive, a gold band with a green or jade stone with the Ferguson family crest etched into it.

Investigators are also keen to speak to anyone that may recall any suspicious activity around the apartment building.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
