CCTV stills released as Robbery & Serious Crime Squad inquiries continue, NSW

Detective investigating a series of break and enters on homes in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs since October 2017, have released images of five men they believe can assist with their inquiries, NSW Police say.

Detectives have been investigating multiple break-ins over the past two months in the area, with a grey 2017-model Mazda CX3 stolen from a home in Marrickville on Wednesday 11 October 2017.

The vehicle was subsequently used by men leaving the scene of the armed robbery of a City Road hotel in Chippendale about 3.45am on Sunday 29 October 2017.

The vehicle was found burnt out in Rozelle an hour later.

Investigators now believe the same Mazda CX3 was used in three earlier armed robberies.

Detectives attached to the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad believe the five men depicted in the CCTV images may be able to assist with inquiries, and are appealing for anyone who knows these men – or who has information they believe can assist investigators – to contact Crime Stoppers.
