CFA firefighters were called to support a rope rescue operation at Toomuc Creek, near Princes Highway in Pakenham at 11.10am on Wednesday, 8 July 2020.

A CFA rescue unit from Nar Nar Goon Brigade were joined by three other crews from Nar Nar Goon and Toomuc, as well as Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), SES, Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police.
The patient had fallen around five metres down a steep embankment along the creek.
Nar Nar Goon Fire Brigade Captain Justin Seddon said the patient felt comfortable enough to walk most of the way up the embankment before a rope rescue was required to coax them up to safety.
"Our brigade attended with the road rescue truck with steep angle rescue equipment," Captain Seddon said.
"FRV crews from Richmond and Dandenong attended to assist as well."
The incident was listed as under control at 11.26am.
By 1.10pm the patient had been safely rescued by crews and handed to Ambulance Victoria.
"Our brigade works with the Pakenham FRV crew on a daily basis so it was good to see familiar faces as we worked together during a successful multi-agency rescue," Captain Seddon said.
"Everybody worked well together and it was a good result in the end."
