Council wishes to advise that there will be disruption to traffic in the CBD From June 6 to June 13 due to construction work.
Underground conduits and cabling are being installed around the CBD to allow lighting to be added to the recently installed banner poles.
The construction will take place in a rolling format through Argent, Sulphide, Bromide, Chloride, and Oxide Streets.
Motorists can expect some detours and reduced parking in areas directly affected by construction as work progresses along the streets.
Council apologises for any inconvenience, and urges motorists to follow all signage and traffic directions during the week of construction.
