To ensure the continued wellbeing of our local community, as well as our adherence to the latest COVID-Safe protocols, a number of changes have now been made to our local Australia Day celebrations.
Unfortunately, the planned Breakfast event with Dungog Rotary has now been cancelled.
While our Official Ceremony and Awards Presentation will proceed at this stage, please be advised that this event is now by invitation ONLY, and we will be enforcing capacity limits and social distancing at all times.
While we're disappointed to have to make these changes to our planned celebrations, we're certainly not alone, and of course, the health and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority.
With so much to enjoy and be thankful for around our shire, we encourage everyone to safely celebrate Australia Day in your own way with family and friends.
