Police have charged a 17-year-old youth following an armed robbery at a jewellery store in Canterbury last month, Victoria Police say.
During the armed robbery, on 24 March, three men entered a Canterbury Road store at 1225pm before using machetes and hammers to smash open cabinets in the store.
The Dandenong youth has been charged with armed robbery and associated offences.
He has been remanded to appear at a Children’s Court at a later time.
The investigation is ongoing.
