A Leading Senior Constable from the Eastern region has been charged in relation to an incident at a booze bus site in Grantville on 20 May last year, Victoria Police say.
It is alleged the police officer discharged his firearm at the vehicle.
No one was injured during the incident.
Detectives from Professional Standards Command have charged the male Leading Senior Constable with reckless conduct endangering serious injury and reckless conduct endangering life.
He is currently transferred to other duties.
He will appear in Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 25 January.
