Charges laid following indecent exposures on the Bay Run in Lilyfield

A man who allegedly exposed himself to a number of women on the Bay Run in Sydney’s Inner West has been charged by police, NSW Police say.

It will be alleged that in January and February 2018, a man approached a number of women in the vicinity of the Glover Street Sports Ground, Lilyfield, and indecently exposed himself.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command have been conducting extensive inquiries and arrested a 29-year-old man at a home on Lawrence Street, Freshwater, about 1.15pm today (Tuesday 6 March 2018).

A search warrant was also conducted at the home.

The man was taken to Chatswood Police Station, where he was charged with stalk/intimidate x 5, behave in an offensive manner in/near public place x 2, assault with act of indecency x 2, and wilful and obscene exposure in/near public place.

He was refused bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 7 March 2018).
