Charges laid following Traralgon fatal collision in March

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a 58-year-old Yinnar man in relation to a fatal collision that occurred on the Princes Highway, Traralgon on Monday 14 March, Victoria Police say.

The collision was between a car and a motorcycle on the Princes Highway, near Airfield Road, just after 10.30am.

The male motorcyclist, a 69-year-old man from Ambarvale in NSW, died at the scene.

The male driver of the car was not injured in the collision.

He has been charged with culpable driving and other related charges, and was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on February 9, 2017.
