Charges laid over 11 break and enters in North Shore

A man will face court today after he was charged over several break and enters across Sydney’s North Shore, NSW Police say.

North Shore Police Area Command commenced an investigation after 11 properties, including businesses, in North Sydney, Milsons Point, Crows Nest, Kirribilli and McMahons Point were broken into and had items stolen.

The break and enters are alleged to have occurred between Friday 16 February 2018 and Thursday 1 March 2018.

Following extensive inquiries, police arrested a 41-year-old man at a unit in High Street, North Sydney, about 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 2 March 2018).

He was taken to North Sydney Police Station where he was charged with 11 counts of break, enter and steal.

The man was refused bail and is due to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 3 March 2018).
