Police have charged a man following a serious assault in Campsie, NSW Police say.
About 9.30pm on Sunday 8 April 2018, emergency services were called to the corner of Beamish and Campsie streets, following reports of an assault.
On arrival, officers from Campsie Police Area Command found a 30-year-old man seriously injured. He was taken to St George Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Following inquiries, police arrested a man, also aged 30, at Campsie Police Station where he was charged with affray.
The man, a Chinese National, was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Tuesday 10 April 2018).
