Devonport CIB is investigating a disturbance in Foster Street, Railton that occurred around 8pm Thursday 17/11/16, Tasmania Police say.
A 54 year old Railton man has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to the matter. Late last night (Friday 18/11/16) he appeared before an out of hours sitting of the Devonport Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody.
He is next to appear before the Devonport Magistrates Court at 2.15pm on Monday 21/11/16 via video link.
A 57 year old man remains in a serious but stable condition with the condition of a 20 year old man reported as stable.
Police would like to speak to any person who may have witnessed the altercation.
