Charges over act of indecency on train and bus, NSW

Charges have been laid after a man allegedly committed acts of indecency in front of a woman on a train and teenage girls on a bus earlier this year, NSW Police say.

About 8.30am on Sunday 12 March 2017, a man sat near a 29-year-old woman on a train, between Wynyard and Chatswood Railway Station, and allegedly committed an act of indecency.

About 9.45am, the same day, police will allege the man followed two 13-year-old girls onto a bus at Chatswood, and exposed himself before getting off the bus in Frenchs Forest.

The incidents were reported to police and an investigation commenced.

About 3.30pm yesterday, a 39-year-old man was arrested at Surry Hills Police Station.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Central Local Court today.
