Charges over Boronia siege

Police have charged a number of people following a siege in Boronia this morning, Victoria Police say.

Officers attended an address in Boronia Street, Boronia about 5am this morning after an alleged assault where a firearm was produced.

A 29-year-old woman from Hampton East has been charged with assault, criminal damage, assault with a weapon and intentionally cause injury.

She has been bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 25 January.

A 20-year-old Noble Park man was charged with robbery over separate incidents and will attend Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old Noble Park boy had a number of warrants executed.

A 31-year-old Boronia woman was charged with possess drug of dependence and was bailed to Ringwood on 25 January.

A 25-year-old Hampton Park man was released pending further enquires while a 25-year-old Dandenong man is still assisting police with their enquires.

The investigation into the incident continues.
