Charges over theft from ambulance in Miranda

A woman will face court next month after allegedly stealing a NSW Ambulance kit in Miranda earlier this month, NSW Police say.

About 7.20pm on Thursday 3 May 2018, NSW Ambulance paramedics attended to a patient on Karimbla Road, Miranda.

While providing care for the patient, a bag was allegedly removed.

Paramedics reported the incident to officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command who launched an investigation.

About 2.30pm on Monday (14 May 2018), a 53-year-old woman attended Sutherland Police Station, where she was arrested.

The woman was charged with larceny.

She will appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 28 June 2018.
