Northern Territory Police have arrested a 17-year-old female following the theft of a motor vehicle.
Around 6:30pm on 17 December the female and female co-offenders are alleged to have stolen a motor vehicle after taking keys from a bag. The co-offenders, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on the date of the incident, Northern Territory Police say.
The 17-year-old was arrested around 9:00am yesterday at an Alice Springs residence.
She was charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
- Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed
- Drive in contravention of an AIL condition
She is due appear in the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court today.
