The rest area located at "Pig Creek" on the Bruce Highway, north of Howard, will be closed temporarily due to works on the Bruce Highway in this area.
The rest area will be closed between 6am and 6pm (subject to weather and other conditions):

- Tuesday 4 April 2023
- Wednesday 5 April 2023
All vehicles will be restricted during this time.
The nearest TMR rest area is in Gin Gin. BP Torbanlea is located south of this rest area however it is not a TMR designated rest area.
