Child Abuse Squad detectives have arrested a man over his alleged role in the death of a four-week-old baby in the state's Riverina.

Following extensive investigations and with the assistance of the NSW Crime Commission who utilised their statutory powers to assist the investigation, strike force detectives arrested a 26-year-old man – known to the child – in Albury CBD at 10am today (Friday 9 May 2025).
