A child and a man have been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, NSW Police say.
About 4pm today (Saturday 4 August 2018), emergency services were called to a home on Pittwater Road at Church Point, after reports a man and boy fell about three to four metres.
When police arrived, they found a 41-year-old man unconscious and his eight-year-old son injured.
They were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before the man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
The child was taken by road to Royal North Shore Hospital with minor injuries.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene.
Investigations are continuing.
