Child approach in Glenwood

Police are appealing for public assistance following a child approach in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.

Just before 1pm yesterday (Thursday 21 June 2018), a 14-year-old girl was walking on Sorrento Drive, Glenwood, when a man driving in a gold-coloured 4WD began to follow her.

He pulled up next to her and spoke with the girl, making her feel uncomfortable.

The girl ran home and informed her parents, who contacted police.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command commenced an investigation and wish to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man has been described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, and aged in his 30s.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
