A boy has died after being hit by a car at Temora, in the state’s Riverina region, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Street just after 2pm yesterday (Sunday 29 April 2018), after a seven-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in the driveway of a home.
He died at the scene.
Officers from the Riverina Police District attended and commenced an investigation.
The driver, a 35-year-old man, was taken to hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.
Inquiries are continuing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
