Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a child drowned in a pool at Bass Hill, NSW Police say.
Just before 6.45pm today (Sunday 24 December 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Broad Street after a two-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from a pool.
He was treated on scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A crime scene was established at the address and police from Bankstown Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
