A 29-year-old man has been charged with child sex offences following an investigation into child exploitation material (CEM).
On 19 February, detectives from Gladstone Child Protection Investigation Unit (CPIU) executed a search warrant at a West Gladstone address.
It will be alleged between 6 May 2025 and 7 January 2026, the man uploaded and distributed child exploitation material online.
The 29-year-old man from West Gladstone has been charged with two counts of possessing child exploitation material and one count of using a carriage service to transmit, make available, publish, distribute, advertise or promote child abuse material.
He is due to appear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on 16 March.
