Police are currently at the scene of a serious crash at Blair Athol, according to SA Police.
Just before 5.30pm on Tuesday 28 March, patrols and emergency services were called to Grand Junction Road near Rosedale Avenue after a young child was hit by a car.
The child has been taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital in a serious condition.
Motorists are advised that Grand Junction Road is currently down to two lanes for all east bound traffic about 200m west of the Gepps Cross intersection.
Investigators from Major Crash are attending the scene.
