Visitors can get festive at historic Jenolan Caves, with Yulefest celebrations and a new range of accommodation options on offer at Australia's most famous cave precinct.

Acting Director of Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust, Andrew Le Lievre, said guests could choose from a stay at the State Heritage listed Caves House, or opt for the fully refurbished Mountain Lodge or Binda Bush Cabins.

"A visit to Jenolan Caves comes with spectacular scenery, the chance to glimpse our resident wildlife such as Brush-tailed Rock wallabies, lyrebirds or even wombats and amazing underground experiences during a cave tour," Mr Le Lievre said.

"During August our visitors can also book in to enjoy Yulefest, which includes accommodation in Mountain Lodge, a 5-course meal, drink on arrival and a gift from Santa for young visitors."

Binda Bush Cabins, between Jenolan Caves and Hampton, give visitors the chance to walk down to Jenolan Caves along the Six Foot Track. The freshly updated two-bedroom cabins re-open to guests for the first time since 2018 on 12 July.

Mountain Lodge, which is a short stroll to Caves House and the famous Jenolan show caves, is also welcoming guests back on 12 July, following a major refurbishment. Each room boasts a kitchenette, king bed and bookings include dinner and breakfast.

"We are proud of the high quality of renovations and know our guests will appreciate the high standard of the rooms and the different accommodation options available to suit groups, families and couples," Mr Le Lievre said.

"Visitors looking for a more historic experience can choose to stay at iconic Caves House, which is home to Chisholm's Restaurant.

"Built as a wilderness retreat in 1896, Caves House offers a step back in time to the late Victorian era of grand hotels.

"All of our accommodation options give guests time to relax and enjoy the magnificent hospitality and wilderness that surrounds Jenolan."

Guests need to pre-book accommodation and tours at Jenolan Caves. More details can be found on the website.
